What Smallstonks is
Smallstonks is software that helps you organise Coinbase-issued tokenized stocks on the Base blockchain into baskets, and prepares transactions for you to sign from your own wallet. Smallstonks does not hold your funds or keys, does not execute trades on your behalf, and is not a broker, dealer, exchange, custodian or investment adviser.
Eligibility
Tokenized stocks are available only to persons in eligible jurisdictions outside the United States and other restricted jurisdictions, as set by the issuer. You confirm your country of residence in the app and are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. You must be at least 18.
Your wallet and transactions
Your wallet is created by Privy and controlled by you. Every purchase, sale, gift or transfer is a blockchain transaction that you sign; once confirmed it cannot be reversed by us or anyone else. Prices come from onchain liquidity pools and can move between quote and execution; the app shows minimum amounts and fees before you sign. Network fees are paid in ETH from your wallet.
Baskets are recipes
A basket is a list of companies and weights. Buying it results in separate holdings of each token in your wallet. Baskets are not funds, are not managed, and are never rebalanced for you.
Gifts
When you gift a basket, tokens are delivered to a wallet created for the recipient's email address. The recipient claims it by signing in with that email. Confirm the recipient is eligible before gifting; gifts cannot be recalled.
Risk
Digital assets and tokenized securities can lose value, including all of it. Liquidity, smart contract, custody and regulatory risks apply. Nothing in the app is a recommendation or advice.
Availability
Smallstonks is in beta and may change or be unavailable at times. We may suspend access where required by law or the issuer's terms.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Smallstonks is provided as is and we are not liable for losses arising from market movements, blockchain or third-party failures, or your own decisions.
